Mr. Schulze has practiced healthcare law on an exclusive basis since graduating from Tulane University School of Law in 1998. His practice focuses on a wide variety of federal and state health law matters.  He has advised hospitals, physician groups and other health care providers in regulatory, fraud and abuse, transactional and corporate compliance issues.

Mr. Schulze has worked extensively with providers and physicians in negotiating and drafting employment, recruitment, medical director and other contractual financial arrangements that comply with the Stark II and Anti-Kickback laws and regulations as well as developing practical and manageable fraud and abuse compliance programs. Mr. Schulze regularly advises clients on the regulations governing exclusion from the Medicare Inpatient Prospective Payment System for long term acute care, inpatient rehabilitation and psychiatric hospitals. Mr. Schulze also regularly works with providers in developing and drafting operating and management agreements, leases and services agreements, private offering memorandums and asset purchase agreements.
